Hey guys and welcome to the K&N blog: a little corner of our website for all the added extras that make your stay here that much more memorable.
From tips and tricks for mastering the log burning fire, to the Top 5 items everyone should bring when staying at the Off Grid Cabin.

Any questions you have will be answered here!

We have an incredibly exciting year ahead of us at Kip and Nook, with new ideas on how to grow, improve, and ‘what big thing we should do next’ constantly taking over our morning coffee meetings. We’ll be dropping some hints across our blog and of course our socials – so make sure you are following us to keep up to date with everything happening at K&N.

So to kick things off, and for you guys to get to know us a little bit more, here are 5 facts you may or may not know about Kip and Nook…

1. Kip and Nook is just a baby!

Kip and Nook has been operating for less than a year! So to reach the success we have in such a short space of time has been amazing. We could not thank you guys enough for all your support, especially during the nightmare of a year that was 2020…thanks again Covid!

2. The owner, Ben, lived in the Cabin for 6 weeks!

During the first lockdown, Ben took himself truly ‘off-grid’ and spent 6 weeks living at the Cabin. 6 weeks surrounded by unmatched views of the countryside…I could think of worse ways to spend lockdown!

3. For every booking we take, we plant 1 tree around Kip & Nook’s grounds

Working with Gone West Tree Planting, we have collaborated on an exciting project whereby we plant more trees around the site, in an attempt to do more for our planet! You can read more about this on our Eco-Friendly page…

4. Each cabin takes roughly 6 weeks to build

All of our cabins are made on-site and take around 6 weeks to complete. The first-ever cabin took around 6 months! This was because it started as just a living space, with no toilet or shower – a true in-to-nature experience!

5. And here’s an insider’s tip from Kip and Nook HQ…. More cabins are coming!!!
